I'm a recent Florida transplant to the great state of Texas. I live with my 4 kids, 1 dog & husband in a beautiful suburb of Houston. I am a stay at home mom with lots to do AND say but never enough hours in a day to get them all done. I love to read, write & decorate but find that I have waaaay too many helpers to do many projects! :) There's never a dull moment in my house since 3 of my kids are under 4! Come join me and our journey through this crazy thing we call life!

Cute St Patty’s Day Treats & Crafts

Ok, I’ll admit it. St Patrick’s Day is not exactly one of the holidays we celebrate around here, I mean our last name is Boudreaux for goodness sakes. :)  It’s not that I don’t think it’s worthy, I quite frankly forget about it until it’s upon us and then….well, you know what happens. My oldest comes home from school and says something like, “My friend’s mom had a St Patrick’s Day party for her.” blah blah blah. Ummkay, I might be exaggerating on that, but I will admit I have seen some stinkin’ CUTE ideas floating around blogland. Here are a few ideas I found just in case I get the urge to celebrate.

These goody bags from create my event would be super cute for a class treat.

I think handprint art is a very easy and kid friendly craft, but I’ve never seen this one before! How cute is this pot o’ gold from b.inspired, mama?

And how yummy do these adorable cupcakes from the fickle pickle look?

These cupcakes from my own labels look super easy and cute! They’re topped with Lucky Charms!

My kids would love this idea, a shamrock pizza from nummy kitchen .

Here’s another craft that I haven’t seen before. This Treasure Hunt is the cutest idea. Thanks to momtastic, this is something I think everyone will want to try!

For the frugal gal in me, these little “Shamrock men” made out of toilet paper rolls from sweet and lovely crafts look like a cute craft for your kids to make. You could also use them to decorate with.

And, last but not least, a simple craft you can make with your kiddies to give to their teachers, daycare providers, etc. Thanks to The Crafting Chicks for such a great idea!

May the luck o’ the Irish be with you. Go forth and craft (and bake) for St. Patty’s Day!

Awesome collection! I’m not Irish either, but I just love the bright rainbows and glittering gold of St. Patrick’s Day. Thanks for the feature. :)
